The Building Process

Pinnacle Building Process

At Pinnacle Family Homes, we believe the process of building a home should be a fun and enjoyable experience. To build great homes consistently, we have developed a building process for each home we build.  It allows us to make certain you are always involved, informed and satisfied with your new home.

Talk to Us:
We would love to discuss your project ideas with you.  We want to find out why you want to build or remodel and what you hope to accomplish by doing so… more space?  a better layout?  Let us help you on your path to a better home.

Choosing a Lot & Land Evaluation:
Choosing a lot for your custom home is incredibly important.  We will walk the land with you, discuss ideas and possible downsides of the site before you commit to anything.  Keep in mind that the site specifications will influence your home plan selection, too. Pinnacle will work with you to choose one that best fits your needs.

                                                                                          Choose a Floor Plan:
Pinnacle Family Homes offers several floor plans, but each can be customized to reflect your lifestyle. Or, we can create a custom floor plan just for you.  Keep in mind you will also be choosing finishes for your home that will reflect who you are and how you live.  Throughout this phase we will work closely with you to meet your budget needs while staying true to your design.

Financing:
Low down payment? Flexible financing? Fifteen or thirty year mortgage? Pinnacle can assist you in securing home and construction loans with local lenders.

Pre-Construction Meeting:
Once you’ve secured financing, you’ll submit your deposit and sign the construction agreement. At your pre-construction meeting, Pinnacle will discuss the project timeline with you. At this meeting, you’ll finalize your color selections, too.

Construction Begins:
Once you sign the construction agreement a schedule is developed and construction begins!  From digging to framing, hvac to electrical and millwork to countertops…there are a lot of steps involved in building a new home.  At Pinnacle we commit to maintaining a clean and safe job-site and we will communicate regularly to discuss upcoming milestones, your concerns and ideas along the way.

Final Walk through:
Prior to closing we will accompany you on a final walk through of your new home and note anything requires our attention.  A lot of information is conveyed at this step and also a lot of emotion as you know you will soon be moving into your new home!

Move in:
With your new house keys in hand, it’s read for you to move in! By choosing your floor plan, design colors, and personal touches, this house is truly yours. Home sweet home.

Customer Satisfaction:
P12 (2)Your relationship with Pinnacle doesn’t stop here. Our reputation for quality craftsmanship and personal service has been cultivated over 50 collective years in the business. For the first year, Pinnacle provides a 1 year warranty on all the parts of the home that we supplied and a 2 year warranty on all mechanicals. In addition, each home has a 10 year Structural Warranty for your further protection. Your satisfaction is our business – and we’re always just a phone call away.

We love our home! The attention to detail was amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience building our dream home. Thanks Pinnacle! The Johnsons
